Senator McCain: Not my choice for president

Being an Arizonan, and a former Republican I can tell that it is political chameleons like John McCain who put me off of the Republican party. Of course George W. Bush didn't help much. I felt he was better than John F.ing Kerry but that isn't saying much. In 2004 I voted for the lesser of two evils for the last time and a few years later joined the Libertarian party. I wish I had made this decision a long time ago but it was a hard decision to make because like many others before me, I still believed in the Libertarian party. However I soon realized that they will never reform and I had to join a party that truly fits my ideals for this nation. Or at least better than any other party I have seen. John McCain spoke against Bush bitterly in the 2000 Republican primary then became his best friend shortly thereafter. Now he carefully distances himself from the most unpopular of Bush's policy's without actually condemning any of them. SO far the worst thing I've heard him say about Bush is that if elected he "would be a little more humble" than Bush. I mentioned that in another article I wrote on this subject. If that's true than Bush must really be lacking in humility. McCain doesn't seem to know the meaning of the word. Nor can he be trusted. When a man changes him political mind like he changes his pants how can we believe anything he says. In 2004 McCain ran for reelection at the same time two other Senators with the same first name were attempting a bid for the white house. Declaring the motto of Flush the three Johns, I proudly voted against all three. Senator McCain was only opposed by two right in candidates from the Libertarian party. I assume that's because the Democrats in this state can't find anyone who represents their beliefs better. The so called war hero who rode his father's and Grandfather's coattails to what little success he had in the military then turned politician because he could never make it to Admiral like they did. The man who benefited from being an Admiral's son as a POW and thus was used in videos as an example of the humane treatment the media said Americans received in Vietnam while his colleagues were being beaten and tortured to death and Jane Fonda cheered. This is the man who came home and participated in covering up our governments abandonment of all the men who were left behind in that country, then as a Senator advocated for "normalizing relations" with them. Do you want a man like this as your President? I think I'd rather
