Quotes from movies have a strange way of making their way into modern phraseology and as such enter the world of modern language as opposed to that of movie quotation. Others are sampled and placed into songs to further enhance their mood by musicians and bands.

Here's a collection of my favourite ten. Some have made their way into phraseology and others have been sampled, some have been overlooked

"You talkin' to me?" and "This whole neighbourhood just needs flushing down the f*ing toilet" Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver

"I've got a bad feeling about this." several characters in the Star Wars saga

"I don't have time for this Mickey Mouse bulls*!" Stansfield in Leon

"What we've got here is failure to communicate." Captain in Cool Hand Luke

And my favourite of all time
