Relating the Spider-Man series to anti-drugs messages is absolutely absurd there is nothing in the slightest that would indicate that there is. The Spider-Man series is just a story about a young man who is thrust into a special situation when he realises that he has all these new abilities and it is a story about how he comes to terms with these abilities and if he should continue his double life and push away the people that love him or sacrafice his destiny for those he loves.

Spider-Man 3 will be as popular as the 1st because it has not run out of ideas like some sequals in the past have. This is due to the fact that Spider-Man graphic novels has spanned over many years and thanks to this long life span there is more characters that can be introduced to keep the series going if they wish to make more than the three that have been made.

Also with all the merchandise that is on the market in relation to Spider-Man that alot of young kids will be wanting to see the new Spider-Man movie even if they have vary little knowledge about the series, they just see the toys and clothing and go "I want mummy".

All up Spider-Man 3 will be as popular as the 1st 2 because of the time it has taken to release the new one alot of people have been waiting for this day since they watched the last one.
