Noisy neighbors

by Heather

Noisy neighbors drive me crazy! I can't stand it when they act as if no one else lives near them. Especially when you live in an apartment and your on the bottom level. That was the case for me years ago. I always grew angry because of how rude they were. Can they walk any louder! Can they play there music and louder! Can their kids scream any louder! Seriously, have some consideration for others.

Neighbors can really drive a person nuts. They have no consideration for those that live around them. Some people are just not ment to live in an upper level apartment or an apartment all together.

Years ago, I lived in an apartment and I was on the lower level. I thought it would be more convenient to move all my things in, to grocery shop, etc... Well, I should have moved to the upper level. I guess you learn as you grow. My neighbor was so noisy! He obviously had an exercise machine in his bedroom, which was above mine. Almost everyday in the early morning, he worked out on the thing. It sounded like a treadmill and the noise they make as you walk or run. I knew when he was running on the machine because of the thuds coming from above me. I was so sick of the noise, I asked him one day if he could be a bit quiet, because my family was sleeping that early in the morning. He basically ignored me, because he never stopped.

The same neighbor that I dealt with for about two years, was such a pain in the butt. He would have visits with his children so many times a week. Of course, they were never quiet. Obviously, they were much like their father. They ran around his apartment playing and jumping. I could hear everything they were doing! Plus, it always happened bright and early in the morning when I was trying to sleep. I complained to my neighbor that there was to much noise coming from his apartment and to "PLEASE" keep it down. Not only were the kids making alot of noise, they were playing very loud music that shook my walls. You could litterally feel the vibrations from the music. I complained to the landlord, but she didn't seem to care one bit. After some time and all my complaining, my landlord said I was a complainer. It made me very angry. I was now putting up with a noisy neighbor and a horrible landlord that couldn't so much as right the neighbor a letter. All I wanted was some piece and quiet. After some time, the children realized they were driving me nuts. During one summer, I had a children's pool on my patio for my child to play in. As I walked past my patio door, I noticed there was big drops of water landing in the pool. Come to find out, the kids were spitting in it. I couldn't believe it. I ran straight up stairs to complain to the father of these children. All he could say was, "my children would not do something like that." When finally, all of a sudden, one of the children said,"He did it!" That night, the father had his children come down to my apartment and say sorry for spitting into my pool. It was the most decent thing my neighbor at that time did out of the whole time I lived there.

I can't stand neighbors that do not have any consideration for those that live around them. Especially if they are doing it to be plane rude. I don't wish neighbors on anyone like that, unless they are the ones doing it them selves. What goes around eventually comes back to bit you in the butt.
