While the brand and style of your watch does tell the ladies something about you, more important is HOW you wear your watch. Whether you are wearing a stylish, expensive Rolex or a dime store Casio, nothing tells more about you than the way you wear that timepiece. Anyone can get their hands on a cheap imitation Rolex, raid their uncle's closet for a decent suit and borrow their rich auntie's car to pass themselves off to the ladies as a well to do bachelor looking for love. It takes a real character connoisseur to knows what to look for in a watch wearer.

First and foremost, people who have a cell phone, blackberry or other tech-no modern device and still wear a watch are saying they still have style. In today's world there are a million and one ways to tell the time but only one way to continue to look good doing it.

A watch can also tell anyone who cares to notice just how practical you are. Let's try a little test. Hold up your hand and look at it. Odds are you were just looking at your palm side. Now rub your hand through your hair. You know, the way you do when you know a girl is watching you and you know she doesn't know you know it. Notice, the palm side is toward you. Wearing your watch with the face on the palm side of your wrist says that you are a man of action. You can see the time more naturally and quickly than if you had to turn your arm over to see it. You are ready to go at a moments notice and you know exactly what time it is, all the time. It will also give you the chance to show off that most under-rated of accessories, the watchband.

A watch is also a dead give away as to how sharp you are. Women want an intelligent man and they have devised a test using your watch to find out just how smart you really are. She will watch you until you glance at your watch then she will ask you what time it is. This is the critical pass or fail moment. If you are really sharp and at the top of your game, you won't have to look at your watch again to tell her that its miller time and she's buying. But if you can't remember what time it was three seconds ago then its time to take off that watch, go home alone and watch the Sopranos with a huge tub of ice cream.

The last and most important thing about how you wear your watch is one of the best all natural ice breakers of all time. All you need is an old fashioned wind-up style watch and a beautiful girl. Casually walk up to her while looking down at your watch, fingers poised over the adjustment post and ask, "Excuse me, do you have the correct time?" Then be ready. As soon as she says, "Its three thirty." she will look at you and that is when you look up; act suddenly startled and say, "My God, you have beautiful eyes!" Instant foot in the door! The rest is up to you and only time will tell what could happen so watch out!
