Defining the American dream

When a person looks at the word "dream" it seems to move it far away from the average person, but is that really the case?

I think that by first having a dream of "what life would be like if" a person begins to identify the state of bliss they wish to live in. Following one's bliss is important to a state of personal contentment that brings with it peace, serenity, and improved personal mental and physical well-being. Having a dream is important.

Mental health professionals indicate that one of the major problems with emotional and mental health that is wide spread within this country is the loss of hope among it's members. Hope is what comes from having a dream and seeing it begin to be fulfilled. An artist should create art and a writer must write. These are the ways that people communicate the real being inside of themselves.

To dream does not mean that you live in an unrealistic world with unrealistic preconceptions. Dreaming is the same as the word imagine and both are required to bring anything into reality. Everything you see around you, created by man, was first conceived in a dreaming state we call imagining.
