Well there is a number of reasons i prefer console games to PC games. for one, my PC cant support games perfectly, so high quality games might become a bit choppy, plus if my computer has a virus, it would stop the game to tell me that. but that is a very minor reason, the bigger reasons are as follow.
One of the biggest reasons i prefer console games is the controller, you don't get this with PC, you have to type with the keys that is much less comfortable to use. The way controllers for consoles are setup, it makes it a lot easier to play, where the triggers are the guns firing and stuff like that so it has the added effect. a good example is the Nintendo Wii, any Wii game on the computer would lose a lot of its entertainment because you would not get to use the sensors to make the game more lifelike, which is really what the Wii is relying on.
Another reason is the multiplayer you can get from consoles. and I'm not talking about the online multiplayer, because that would be good on computers and stuff like that too, but the multiplayer in one room, the ability to have two or three friends over and play the same video game at the same time.
also the lag you get from computers can be a hassle. i enjoy playing video games when i can not worry about lag, which i don't have to do on consoles unless I'm online, and sometimes thats not even a problem.
well this concludes why i think consoles are the way to play video games. I mean, why not play games on something that was made for that specific reason?
