Seattle weather can be a bit unpredictable, but it is still a great city to hang out in. This place is good any season.
The cafes and Starbucks everyone knows about. But since we are talking about Spring Break here, let me take this moment to mention the clubs and other assorted nighttime venues. I'm a bit of a club connoisseur and I think the rainy city has some of the best clubs in the country. If I had to choose three they would be as follows:
1. The Capitol Club-This is a very prestigious club. Mostly twenty and thirty-somethings. Very good prices and lots of specials. The bartenders are usually very liberal with the alcohol....
2. Showbox Theatre-Okay, not a club. But definitely a good place to go and soak up some culture. Real great performance-based art to be found here. Great food and even better prices.
3. The Fenix Underground-Great if you like industrial beats and techno music. Very young crowd. One of the few clubs in the area with an "18 to enter, 21 to drink" policy. Great prices and an excellent atmosphere.
Seattle is one of the best places to spend Spring as far as the colder cities are concerned. It does warm up in Spring but it can be unpredictable. Bring a raincoat just in case, trust me. And when the rain does hit, be happy for this list!
