Ways to look and feel years younger than your age

First of all, I should say don't be afraid to embrace your age - some of the most beautiful women I know are 40 years +. As you grow older your wisdom, knowledge, and personality allow you to become more beautiful than your looks would ever allow.

However, we all need to feel good about ouselves so hear are my tips:

1. Drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. Yes, I know, you've heard this a million times before but water makes your skin feel vibrant and helps with joint pain and fatigue.

2. Exercise - it releases stress and gives you energy!

3. Eat healthy - fast food and eating out a lot will only add pounds and make you feel worse about yourself. When you prepare a healthy home cooked meal, not only do you feel good about the accomplishment but you feel good because you are eating right.

4. Dress your age. Trying to look younger doesn't mean you need to wear short skirts and low cut blouses. In my opinion, this could make you look older because you are trying too hard to be 'young' and 'hip.' There are many flatering clothes out there for your body type that can make you look younger without making it look like you tried too hard.

5. Smell younger. The scent of grapefruit can make you seem six years younger in studies done in research foundations!

6. If you are really concerned about wrinkles ask your dermatologist about Retin-A. It is normally used to clear up acne, but it has been known to improve wrinkles. It is affordable with your insurance carrier but can dry out skin so make sure you moisturize!
