Many people today when talking about a shopping channel will laugh and mock at the very thought of it but do they know anything other than the name QVC. With all the shopping channels out there today it amazes me how people who have never tried it are still sceptical.
It is true that a lot of the time channels only sell things we'll never use and things we don't really need but at the same time, when there IS something you need, they could save us a lot of money. (Even with ridiculous p&p charges!) For example, a wedding ring would cost you hundreds and hundreds in the shops, just take a look for youselves! The prices are so high because they don't know whether they will sell and they have to buy through the 'middle men.' Then compare to channes that specialise in jewellery and you'll find tere is no middle man and you can buy 2 for the same price as that one item in the shop.

One of my favorite channels was the recently closed iBuy. As I am only 16 I could only buy through my parents but even when not buying I would tune in and watch this channel endlessly as it proved a great source of entertainment! I myself laughed at the very idea of shopping through the TV but when this new interactive and exciting shopping channel appeared, I was hooked from the start!
I'm not sure what everyone else thinks of shopping through their telly but I've found that many people simply dismiss the idea. Please tell of anything you have bought or been tempted to buy.. or the best channels and buys you have seen. Also of any bad experiences because I know on the odd occasion there has been a few!
