Goggles, a window into the water. Goggles can be useful, but they can be a pain. Especially when your are in a chlorinated pool and you oh so reliable goggles become your worst enemy. Here are a couple tips for choosing a good pair of goggles. First, don't go to some store like target of k mart if you want goggles to last, go to a sporting store. Second when you're taking a look at a pair slip 'em out of the box and look at the seal around the goggles, make sure its not to flimsy, make sure its sturdy and thick. Also make sure that the band that goes around your head wont rip after a little bit of pressure is applied. Third tip, Don't get a pair of scuba diving goggles get some nice streamlined goggles that are a little bit smaller this will give more of a hydrodynamic head. So there it is my three tips for choosing swimming goggles, hope it was helpful
