Reflections: The Myspace Age

Myspace

I found out about myspace through my children, and like many other people I figured it was just a scene for teenagers, or the new generation, but I was wrong.
Soon after I put up my profile, I learned, you could communicate with star's fan clubs some actors even let their fans know that they check out their own myspace site.
Singers just getting started, or well known bands also have myspace sites, but the thing that I love the most about myspace is; I have found three friends plus their children on myspace, one I have been looking for, for over six years; throughout the Internet, white pages, yellow pages, and old friends. I never found out a thing about her. Less then two months up on myspace, not only did I find her, but I found two other friends I had lost contact with.
I also have better communication with my own children, as well as some of their friends who use to hang out at my house for days at a time.
Myspace is not an age it is a wonderful communication highway, where you can find old friends, as well as new friends. Learn about people who you would like to meet at some point in your life, listen to music, see interviews, or movie previews.
I for one hope myspace will be around for a very long time.
