There is no real way to tell who will win it this year. simply because there is many teams with great lineups and great chances of winning.

In my personal oppinion, i think the teams with the best chances of winning the cup are Buffalo, Anaheim, Detroit, San jose and Nashville. Although i think a few other teams have a chance of surprising us this year and really pulling it up for the playoffs like New Jersey, Pitsburg or Atlanta. This cup match should be a good one, as its packed with tallented offence, such as Sidney Crosby, Joe Thorton, Vincent Lecavelier and Martin St.Louis.

I think one of the best lineups has to be Pitsburg, they are packed with powerfull offence with players such as crosby and malkin, and also cary a very well ballanced defence. and although they did not do as great as some other teams, Minnesota had the least goals scored on them, and holding up a good defence could easily carry a team to the stanley cup finals.

Here is how i think the playoffs will go.

At the start of the playoffs, weaker teams such as Islanders, Calgary and Tampa will be knocked out. i also think pittsburg will make it to round two even though they are facing a more skilled team.

nearing the end, i predict the finals will contain San Jose from the east, VS Buffalo from the west.

I think the final winners of this cup will be... San Jose!. although not my personal favorite, they have showed somewhat of a consistancy to win and not throw away any games to weaker teams. this year they have great offence, and a great goalie, which i think will win them the cup.
