on a chance to pick up a DT who can help their run defense.
24. New England- Jon Beason, OLB, Miami- An outside linebacker at Miami who can play "mike" backer in the patriots 3-4 defense. Its about time the Pats picked up another linebacker. This kid is real physical.
25. New York Jets- Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee- I watched this guy catch balls and run through obstacle courses on ESPN and I was very impressed with it. The Jets will love to bring in another pair of good hands.
26. Philadelphia- Darelle Revis, CB, Pittsburgh- A cornerback who played college ball on the other side of the state. Fast and great at breaking on a route. Philly has their man.
27. New Orleans- Greg Olsen, TE, Miami- The best TE prospect in the draft and he's pretty fast too. The Saints need a tight end and at 27 this guy is a great pick up.
28. New England- Marcus McCauley, CB, Fresno State- We all know how much Bill Belichick loves those Fresno kids. Pat Hill always does a good job with getting these guys NFL ready.
29. Baltimore- Anthony Spencer, DE, Purdue- A defensive end prospect who can also play some outside linebacker. versatility is something that Bill Billick loves. Spencer will be a nice replacement for Adalius Thomas.
30. San Diego- Brandon Meriwhether, S, Miami- The Pats didn't nab him so the Chargers did. Everyone knows Miami always has good NFL prospects.
31. Chicago- Demarcus Tyler, DT, NC State- With questions about Tank Johnson and Tommie Harris, the Bears personnel are backed into a corner. Congratulations Tyler, you just slid into the first round by default.
32. Indianapolis- Chris Houston, CB, Arkansas- With the loss of Nick Harper and Houston falling down to the final pick in the first round, this pick just makes sense. Houston is a physical corner and maybe that'll rub off on the rest of the defense.
