Why black athletes dominate sports (and why people are afraid to talk about it)

Blacks don't dominate sports....the media just wants you to think they do.
with that said...here's some reality...
culturally, people of European descent in this country have the mindset that sports is something to do to enhance the life experience. It isn't something, necessarily that one would do as a career choice. European Americans study and go to college and get degrees and go out into the world and get great paying jobs and have fabulous careers. African Americans tend not to do this.
culturally, people of African descent in this country have the mindset that spoirts is something to do to get the hell out the ghetto. It isn't something necessarily that one would do to have a more fulfilling life experience. African Americans spend a good deal of time on the basketball courts or the track fields, baseball diamonds and/or football fields, trying to impress some college recruiter that they are worth the scholarship and then after 4 years of not actually studying anything, convince some pro ball/Olympic recruiter that they are the man/woman for the job that pays more than it should considering all they're doing is play a sport. (that's another discussion for another day)
Blacks dominate sports because blacks are AVAILABLE to play sports. Most whites aren't... you re the "superstar" if you make it to the pros...otherwise, it was all about getting a college education for free...
now...if we can just get the blacks that get the college scholarship to actually study and get a degree in something other than phys ed....
