Can you see my face and not
refer to my race?
Can I travel from place to
place and be judged by my
kindness and my grace?
The world has changed in
so many ways but race seems
to stay in place.
Why can't I love anyone
that I choose and race not
be the issue and
not be the news.
Why is race so important to
so many?
When babies are born they
are so pure, race is something
that they should never
endure until someone changes
their views and hinders
their growth.
