Walking versus running? The correct answer here is both. You have to run because
you can.Sound facetious? You gotta go for the burn baby especially when theres
frost on the roof.I'm 56 and i've Run ,biked or walked all my life every single week
since I was 16 or so.I have religiously kept a schedule of about 10 miles a week
but only twice a week.Don't overcommit. It won't work. The only time in the past
30 years when i have not been able to exercise was 1978 when I broke my foot.
However I also walk everyday at least a couple miles if i'm not running.By not overcommitting but going for the burn when you do you leave your schedule open
for other physical activities and at the same time getting optimal returns when you do.I also weightlift twice a week.Nothing too intense but multiple sets of a few basic lifts.i love my walks and I love my runs.I wouldn't give up either.
