There are man differences in the life of the comforted queen bee and the exhausted worker bee. First let's just think of this in medieval times. The queen bee is the noble lord and the worker bee is the peasants or surfs. The queen gets the easy, simple life. Wake-up reproduce eat and go back to sleep, while the worker bee wakes up from it's hexagonal cell. It repairs the cell using wax then goes off for miles and miles to get a pinch of pollen and return then to go out for more and more miles to get a second pinch of pollen. And you finally get home to your cell where you get your few hours of well deserved break time. You wake-up fix your cell and start this gruesome process again. You even protect your queen from attacking wasps and other larger insects. Sacrificing yourself everyday to your beloved queen who in return gives you nothing. If bees had a larger brain maybe they would figure out that they give every thing they got to a queen who doesn't even know they exist. Also imagine your mother (the queen) not caring even if you die, or even if one of your sister dies because you get maybe 40 more sisters a day. It's a very hard life for a bee, but if you're a queen bee it's a great life it's like being on top of the hive.
