Black athletes dominate many sports, yet it can be politically incorrect to comment upon it. With racial sensitivities being what they are, differences among races seem to be a taboo subject.
There are genetic, and physical differences between blacks and caucasions! That wasn't so hard to say, but some are probably ready to pounce, as if something negative is about to be said. There is nothing negative about having slightly different bone structure in the foot, nor is there a negative to having thicker skulls. These two elements help blacks to dominate in running sports, and boxing.
There is another genetic factor at play, some blacks have very large body frames, evolutionary changes relating to the "survival of the fittest". These large athletes do very well in basketball and football, where size is important to success. There are large people of other ethnicities, but the percentages favor the black race.
Another aspect important to domination of any field is the determination of an individual to succeed. Because many members of the black community have fewer opportunities to succeed in other fields due to lack of opportunity, some dedicate themselves to their physical talent areas with dedication unmatched by other ethnic groups. Armed with superior physical attributes, and a more determined will to succeed, it is no surprise that domination of a sport may result.
It is alarming that this subject could be considered off-limits by those concerned with political correctness. Different people bring different talents to the table, and no one should be so sensitive that open discussion is not politically correct. It seems to me that I recall something about the gifts and talents bestowed upon all men by their Creator, maybe He was not aware that man might resent the idea that each of us might be uniquely different.
