The hardest part about losing weight is starting. Feel good about just beginning to consider losing weight. Breaking old habits such as laziness, over eating, poor diet and lacking motivation is hard. Encourage yourself to continue by appreciating what you have achieved each step of the way. Notice even the slightest improvement in your weight and you will feel motivated to go on.
Losing weight is just like getting fit. Getting over that intial hurdle is the hardest part. Starting the routine, beginning the day with healthy foods and encouraging yourself each and every step of the way. Eventually seeing the first signs of success will make it all worthwhile.
However once you have started, you will slowly but surely change your way of thinking. Motivation will become that much easier. You will want to continue to exercise as your body gets used to routine. Your mind will become accustomed to searching out healthy foods.
Your body will appreciate the change and this will inspire you. Alter back to your unmotivated habits and your body will reject the idea. Taking that step back to your exercise routine and healthier lifestyle will be so much easier each time you slip.
