Wii
The wii is probably up to date the most popular of the 3 new consoles. with the cheap low price of about $200 and its new unique gaming system many people are interested in it. The wii is an original system, and a system that bases most of its stuff on gameplay. The wii has many great solo company games such as zelda, mario and all its games and a VERY popular game smash bros. With the new controller everyone feels as if that thyre not just playing a game but that they're a part of it, one of the reasons why the wii is so popular. Another great aspect of the wii is its online play, it has a terrific online play and many different things u can do such as the weather channel and new channel nevermind browsing the web on your tv! You also have the option to buy cclassic games from the past nintendo systems, some of the best games ever were made for them and now u can play them once again! Though for hard core gamers the wii will never be enough. it doesnt have those long story twisting, rpg's , a lot of its games r based around a younger audience. the games rnt always challenging enough and the graphics rnt the best compared to the other systems as well.

Xbox 360
the Xbox360 made a lot of profit by releasing its console a year early, good move by microsoft. It has pretty amazing graphics and probably the best online hook up and play. The price of it is fair and it has a lot more games out than the other 2 systems. It has the oppurtunity to play of its hit "halo" which was released on regular Xbox. however its a great system for sports games and itll have the rpg's necessary to keep the regular gamer happy, like me. the only thing it doesnt have is anything that stands out like the other 2 systems, its kind of just a console for regular gamers but not the best gamers.

PS3
so far playstation 3 is probably the worst console. however give it a year, when the price begins to drop and it begins coming out with sweet games, and it will become more and more popular as time goes on. It has the new blue ray technology with its games, what is supposed to one day become the new dvd so people will want a blue ray disc player eventually, why not get a game console at the same time right? It also has a sensor in the controller that u can use for certain games for example if a zombies biting your neck u can shake the controller to get it off. The thing is it has so many unique little tools and toys that the loading time is slower because of that. another problem is the lack of games, and original titles. even metal gear solid is gonna start being released for Xbox360, the only game series that playstation will have to work off of is final fantasy. Though thegraphics are incredible and stand out more then both the other consoles, the options in the games are gonna be so realistic, the games will be challenging, once this console fixes its problems in the market this will be the system for the hard core gamers.
