There are so many skilled soccer players, but which are players that teams are going to want in the near future? Who is going to be an all-star player, a hero to their nation and who is way too over rated?
Lionel Messi
A young argentinian striker, he currently playes for both barcelona and argentina, both of which are very very talented football teams. I believe messi is going to be the next maradona. He's got pace, he's got fantastic footwork and he's got a good eye for a goal or a pass leading to a goal. Coaches i advise you that if your gonna spend 50 million pounds on a player, Messi is the player to buy. This season he has 13 goals in 11 games, 3 in which he was only subbed on too.
Christiano Ronaldo
A young portuguese midfeilder, he currently plays for manchester utd and his country, again very good teams. He has a lot of pace and a lot of speed and is probably one of the fastest players around the world who can control the ball very well. He can score goals, set up plays and do what it takes to make a great footballer. This season he already has 16 goals in 28 games this season, better then most strikers have in a good season. The only downfall to this player is his temper and many say it's only cause he's young but it isn't. However without that he is gonna be a zidane with super speed.
Wayne Rooney
a young striker for england, he also plays with manchester united. He's got speed and a good hard accurate shot. He will always be a good player but I think that he isnt as good as he seems. with the fabulous plays from his team mates at manchester united a goal isnt to hard to score, saha, van nistelroy and even ole solskjaer have gotten tons of goals for the amount of games theyve played. If you look at ho rooney is currently playing for england, well, it isnt all that good now. Rooney will always be a good player but not one of the best, for the right price he is worth purchasing but not for too much.
Fernando Torres
a young spaniard, plays for his nation and atletico madrid. He is a good striker, one of those strikers whos got an eye for goal. In the world cup he did incredible for spain and helped them get a lot of goals. However as much as i like torres i think he got slightly lucky. He's a decent player but he's just had a couple good seasons. He only has 9 goals this year so far, no wheres near enough for a top class striker. He has skill but he doesnt have what it takes to be the worlds best.
Theo Walcott
A young english footballer who plays for arsenal. Theo
