Looking to spice up that wardrobe and add some spring flair? The newest spring trends for 2007 are bright, girlish and oh so easy to incorporate. Remember you don't need to go out and replace your entire wardrobe just to be "in style". Simply adding a few token items to your base items will be easy on your pocket book and will make you feel oh so fabulous!

Before I go into the new spring trends let me tell you that you don't have to spend a ton of money to be "in style". Let me elaborate on the base and token items that I mentioned above. I believe base items to be solid (often neutral) colored pants or bottoms that can go with most anything. I like to have my base items as bottoms because finding the perfect fit is harder. Once you build a solid base in your wardrobe you can splurge every season and buy a few "in style" extravagant tops/ jackets or accessories and you will look great without spending a ton of money.

The 2007 fashion trends are loud and spunky this season! Innocent is back with the frills, pastels, ruffles and bows. Loud & busy designs are also way hot this spring! Things like polka dots, fun graphic prints, stripes and floral prints are everywhere. Vivid colors are taking the stage this spring so feel free to indulge in those bright accessories and shoes!

SWEET IS SEXY!
Looks like the baby doll look is popular this spring! This means sweet and girlish tops and dresses with empire waists, ruffles, frills, bows and girlish embellishments are hot! Looking sweet is really sexy this spring so grab your favorite baby doll dress or top, sport some tight tendril curls, wear subtle shades of pink makeup and you'll be turning heads this spring!

BUSY DESIGNS ARE HOT!
Playful polka dots, stylish stripes, gaudy graphics and overflowing floral prints are popping up on clothes and accessories so much this season. Pick your favorite feature items and don't be afraid to express yourself! Vibrant colors and semi wacky designs are all the rage this spring.

Have fun spicing up your wardrobe this spring but be careful not to go overboard. Too many polka dots, graphics, flowers or stripes can be a bad thing! It is best to pick one focus and let it take the stage by wearing sophisticated yet simple complimentary clothing items in neutral colors. This means if your top is the focus make sure your bottoms/ accessories are simple and complimentary so that your outfit is not overwhelming.

METALLIC IS THE NEW NEUTRAL!
I know you have seen the golden metallic purses and accessories. Believe it or not metallic are becoming more and more everyday. Gold, copper and bronze purses, belts, shoes and jewelry are becoming the norm and some even call them wardrobe staples! These are best incorporated as evening wear or in small dosages during the workday. No matter how you wear/ display them every woman should have at least one a metallic accessory in her wardrobe, just in case!

SPORTY AND LOOSE ARE IN!
InStyle Magazine says "Unskinny" pants are hot with their boyish charm and sporty feel. Now you can breath easy knowing you won't have to run all over town in search of the "perfect fit" in pants this season. Sporty is a major trend this spring. So dig out your hoodies and track pants!

Have fun with your wardrobe this season and remember you don't have to spend a ton of money to look great. Go through your closet, dig out those forgotten treasures and take inventory of your base items before you begin shopping. Once you know what you have, set out to buy a few hot feature items to go with your established base and have fun! Spring is the best time of year for fashion!
