Dessert ideas

A dessert that both my husband and myself enjoy is homemade Chocolate Fudge Cake. The recipe for Chocolate Fudge Cake is as follows.

Ingredients:
6 oz. white chocolate
1 Cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
1 Cup and 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar
1 and 1/2 Cups all purpose flour
1/2 Cup and 3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 large eggs
1/2 pint heavy cream
10 and a 1/2 oz. semisweet chocolate
1 pint strawberries, washed and thinly sliced

Preparation:
Finely grate the white chocolate onto a plate or into a bowl using a vegetable peeler. Set in fridge until needed. Preheat your over to 350 degrees. Grease two 8 inch round cake pans;line with parchment paper. Combine butter, sugar, flour, baking powder, cocoa, eggs, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer set on medium and beat until smooth. Continue to mix for another 2 minutes. Pour equal amounts of batter into each cake pan. Bake cakes for about 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Remove cakes form over and let cool for several minutes then turn onto wire rack. Peel off the parchment paper and let cool completely. While cakes are cooling heat heavy cream just to a boil. Break the semi-sweet chocolate into pieces and add to the cream. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Let cool and then put in refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill. Once chocolate is cooled whisk until thickened to a spreadable consistency. Frost each cake and then once placed together continue to spread the frosting over the entire cake. Sprinkle the grated white chocolate on top and slices of strawberries as garnish.
