I live to die, I don't know why
I'm hurting, I am killing me inside
To hide, what I struggle to conceal
A feeling that i won't reveal
The memory that still haunts me from my past
A sigh long gone
It seems to last
Forever, until there's nothing here
I am my biggest fear

nothing left but compromise
hide it all behind these too-blue eyes
and be absolved of
The inner workings
Of my befuddled mind
Raise suspicious questions
Of the terrible kind
The doctors all say
Take this or
I don't know who I am,
I don't know what I see.
I don't know where I've been
Or how it all pertains to me.
