What is the funniest animal?

I have had encounters with numerous animals over my forty years of life so far, including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rats, bunny rabbits, fish and birds. The funniest animal from my experiences would be the bird.

We have a flock of show-pigeons who reside upon our windows, alcoves, and roof. The dominant male, Fluffy, is amongst the most amusing souls I have met. When I go outside to feed the pigeons, he will fly onto my wrist and try to get a beak full of the best seeds from the tub before i have time to tip it over. When he is feeling as if he wishes to thank me, he will fly onto my head and sit there, as if this is to signify both his bravery and respect, along with acknowledging the piece of cheese I sneaked out, or that I refreshed his water container. Often he will come and sit on the outside of my windowsill when i am inside looking out into the yard, and he will stare at me, as if pondering such as 'Why does that creation have hair instead of feathers?'

Shyly, another male pigeon, will come inside every time that I leave the back door open and jump all over my shoes. He pecks at the laces, tries to balance on them until they fall over, and perches on the rim of my trainers.

Smokey, Fluffy's third son, will follow me into the outdoor laundry and happily coo-dance upon the garden tool shelf whilst I do my washing. He seems to love to prance about 'owning' the laundry and laughing at me for working instead of enjoying life.

I have to be very careful when i leave the back door open to close the sliding door. If I leave it ajar, Fluffy and Brownie (Fluffy's 'wife') will walk right inside our home and start to bring twigs inside to attempt to make a nest upon our linen cupboard or pantry roof. On one occasion, Fluffy had Brownie sit upon the linen closet whilst he brought in several small twigs. He then got rather ambitious and dragged in a rather large stick which took him much effort. It was quite comical to behold him attempt to fly it from the floor up onto the linen closet roof. It reminded me of a small toddler trying to help Mom with the chores. Additionally, they will amuse me by flying onto the dining table and tucking in to OUR meals, if the door is left ajar.

On one occasion, I fell asleep after dinner leaving the door open for fresh air, and upon waking discovered no less than five pigeons had invaded the entryway. Fluffy was dominantly chasing the others out, protecting his wife's right to snuggle down in the crevice behind the open door, whilst Smokey, Shyly and Baby kept coming back inside and contesting for best spot to perch.

There is no end to the amusement our tribe can bring to us, so I would have to claim that birds are the funniest animal.
