When should you drink Coke and when should you drink Pepsi?

I am a Coke drinker so this is a rather interested topic to write about. Everyone in our home prefers Coke except for my Mother. I drink all carbonated beverages for one and one reason only, the caffeine. Coke has more caffeine in it than Pepsi does so this is my reason for preferring Coca-Cola. You can find all the amounts of Caffeine in a lot of brands of Soda/Pop www.energyfiend.com. So naturally being a Soda/Pop drinker for caffeine I prefer Coca-Cola. I do not want the extra pounds so I drink Diet Cola over the ones with sugar in it.

I am conscience of my teeth and been drinking Diet Soda for Years. I have never had a cavity. Interesting when it comes to the real brand/with sugar. I prefer to drink Pepsi. Coca-Cola is too sweet to me and Pepsi isn't. I lived through the Pepsi Challenge campaign of the late 70's and I picked Coca-Cola.

On the Diet end of it, I prefer Diet Coke. I think that Coke has more carbonation in it and a lot of people agree with me on this.

To me being a Coca-Cola drinker, I only drink Pepsi when Coca-Cola is not available. For some reason I also see that children prefer Pepsi. But with children I think you should be cautious. Caffeine is a drug like anything else and when The Harrison act was introduced to ban Cocaine, Heroin, Marijuana and the like, caffeine was even considered. Can you imagine what this country would be like if this was to have happened. Coffee and Soda is as American as Apple Pie and Chevrolet.

Interestingly enough when Coca-Cola went on it's advertising scheme to develop a new Coca-Cola. A huge amount of loyal DIE-HARD Coke fans were appalled and as one representative put it. When they received calls from Coca-Cola customers complaining they wanted their old Coca-Cola back. It were as if they had taken away their Grandmother. Coke fans are loyal. Pepsi fans are loyal, so who is to say when it is appropriate to drink one over the other. But I believe if you want to wake up, and not drink coffee, Coca-Cola is your Answer. And if you want to look COOL, of course crack open a can of Coca-Cola. You'll attract more woman or men.
