Ways to drive traffic to your website

Creating a website, increases the opportunity to bring new customers to your business and increase sales. Your website, provides Internet user, with information regarding products or services, your selling. Anyone can access your website at their leisure, any time during the day or night. The website should be updated periodically, with new information, and greetings that attract, and retain repeat visitors. Getting this information seen, by Internet users is critical.


Methods to increase traffic to your website

1.) Print your business website address, next to your business name and address, on business cards, letterheads, sales literature, advertisements including coupons, yellow pages, flyers, and any correspondence by mail or E-mail.
Depending on your budget, advertise your website on television or radio commercials. Locate niche magazines or periodicals, which reflect your product or services, upon advertising your website. The website should be easily accessible to get information, place orders, and ask any questions by E-mail. Frequently check your E-mail messages, and respond quickly to any question, within twenty-four hours.

2.) Weekly or monthly prepare a E-mail Newsletter, which includes your website address. E-mail Newsletter will inform and update news relevant to your business, and future events or sales. Upon request by customers, clients, online patrons or patients send to their E-mail address your Newsletter. Set-up a separate E-mail database for correspondence. Provide hard copies for anyone visiting or entering your business establishment. Create an incentive for Internet users to subscribe, by offering special promotions, sales, coupons that are printed or sweepstakes. Set-up many Blog sites, where you can present a portion of your E-mail Newsletter, which includes website address, and creates the opportunity, for anyone to correspond to your Blog site.



3.) Internet has many search engines, each can provide a link to your website. Most active search engines are Yahoo and Google, more frequently accessed than Yellow pages. Keywords are entered, on search engines, were viewers search for specific information, product or service. Your website should have unique or least common keywords, which link Internet subscribers, searching for a product or service, that your selling.
