frightening proof'. Also, some might have material winnings from this, as new technologies (solar power, wind power etc.) have been developed and need introduction to the world. I am not trying to accuse anyone but if we look back in history, these things have happened before.
But the most probable cause of global warming seems to be the one mentioned in page 1, that it is both a natural phenomena, and the fault of today's technology. I mean, we use fire in almost anything today, and fire creates carbon dioxide, POLLUTION. And considering the earth's past, the probability of it starting to heat up by other causes is also very probable.
We definitely have evidence about global warming, so we know that something has to be done:
So what can we do, should we just continue our casual lives, or at least try to slow this process down, or even stop it, using clean[and renewable] energy source. Well, if we don't help fight global warming from pure instinct, than at least for our grandsons and grand-grand-grandsons and the continuation of our civilization.
A couple of up-to-date info on global warming issues (to prove the little developments that are being done in this matter):
"The US Senate rejected the amendment to the energy bill offered [] the amendment would have imposed a "cap and trade" system on the US energy industry in an effort to restrict greenhouse gas emissions."
European Emission increase despite Kyoto measures
"This report is the annual submission of the greenhouse gas inventory of the European Community to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. It presents greenhouse gas emissions between 1990 and 2003 by individual Member State and by economic sector. The report shows that, between 2002 and 2003, emissions in the 15 old member states increased by 53 million tones, or 1.3% and total EU emissions increased by 1.5%"

This is why we should take matters into our own hands and try and change governmental rules or at least do small things that matter, like recycling our garbage, and thinking if the car we want to buy is environmentally friendly.
