Global warming might be a serious problem, the world is now warmer than it has been for many thousands of years, and this may cause serious problems to our planet.
Our scientists have discovered this problem years ago, and still, little development has been made ever since, and only from some countries(MEDCs), making the problem to become more significant year by year.
This problem can be caused by the improper and efficient use of energy, transport means and products that use CHC's. The low world recycling rates also cause bad effects to Earth.
These might cause a 2 temperature rise, which even though it doesn't sound significant would threaten many food supplies like wheat yields making 400 million people starve (and the world's population is continually growing).
This gamble with the weather could also cost us many plant and animal species, not to talk about the human lives.
Or then again, maybe this whole global warming problem is not because of us, maybe it's the way things are developing naturally on earth, the ice age wasn't caused by us, why think that the Hot Age' is being caused by us humans and our fast cars, wasteful factories and stinky deodorants? Well for one thing leading scientists have issued an international plea about global warming, but can they really prove that it's not just a natural phenomenon? After all, carbon dioxide plays a very small part in global warming, and the rest, CHC's? It is possible and I think that taking care of our environment, recycling as much as we can, and creating more fuel effective cars and factories could help in easing this problem... but if global warming was naturally caused, wouldn't we just slow it down by doing this?
Pollution is definitely a major issue in today's world, even if we leave global warming aside. It is scientifically proven that people that smoke have a smaller chance of getting lung cancer than people who don't; what does that tell us of the air we breathe, the healthy' modern city air.
But back to global warming, we have to consider the fact that the earth has gone through major changes since its creation point, and some scientists say that Global Warming' might create temperatures as high as when the dinosaurs existed, which actually means that the earth has been through this again. So if this whole Global Warming' thing has happened before, why do we think it's our fault this time?
Maybe it isn't, but scientists have the objective of cleaning our world of pollution, and might use this as
