Chocolate Jesus for Easter: Blessing or blasphemy?

The problem with this issue is not from Mr. Cavallaro, not from the chocolate Jesus itself (albeit a grotesque waste of perfectly good chocolate), and not from the hotel's decision to host the exhibit. The problem here is with the Catholic League who are just sitting back waiting to pounce on the most ridiculous things that they can claim insult their mighty church. The president of the Catholic League, Bill Donahue, is a fat blabbering idiot who only makes catholics in America look worse than they already do. Immediately after this pointless debate, he and Mr. Cavallaro were featured on CNN in which Donahue said to Cavallaro "...you're lucky I'm not as mean (as the Taliban), because you might lose more than your head."
This work, this chocolate statuette of Jesus, is a piece of art and in the world of art, anything goes. This isn't even close to the most controversial displays of art that have ruffled the feathers of religious bigots so why Donahue chose to viciously attack, foaming at the mouth, Mr. Cavallaro is beyond me. I can only assume he is looking for more press among an audience that is just getting sick of him and his kind.
