There is no way that Nickeloden has as good of shows as they did when I was growing up. When I was religiously watching Nick they had more cartoons and game shows. These are my superstars of Nickelodeon.

*Legends of the Hidden Temple: this was a game show where kids compete in a sort of obstacle course. It starts off with 5 or 6 teams and they eliminate the teams down to two. The teams had names like "blue barracudas" and "red jaguars". What I wouldn't give to be on that show.

*Rocko's Modern Life: this was a cartoon about a wallaby. He lives in O-Town with his cow friend. Although it wasn't on TV for more than four years it is still a classic.

*Ren and Stimpy: this cartoon is just too funny for words. The gross, fart and poop humor is a little too much for kids but growing up it was great. I watch that show now and think, "man, I was a gross little girl!"

*Are You Afraid of the Dark?: I absolutely loved this show. It was a little corny but still scared the crap out of me. Each story was different, the beginning credits were even freaky. This show needs to come back.

*The Adventures of Pete and Pete: this show was about two red headed brothers and their many adventures. One of them had a tattoo on their arm of a mermaid and would make it swim. :) I love this show, I have two red headed friends that are brothers, I call them Pete and Pete all the time.

*Doug: Doug Funny, Patty Mayonnaise, Skeeter and Roger. What a great cartoon. I love this cartoon because you want Doug and Patty to be together so badly but he's just too clumsy and odd. Its a fun show and it should be brought back asap.

I think it's funny how shows just disappear. Going back through all of these has made me realize that Nickelodeon isn't as good as it used to be. Bring back the 90's shows!
