I remember thinking, when I saw the 'salon shots,' that it was a sad moment, for a very sad young lady!
Whoever thinks Britney Spears will not rise from her fall, has NO idea of the power, our youth has today.
I never cared for the pop star, after her well announced breast surgery. Honestly, I knew this type of thing
would happen to the girl. She was too innocent, too pure, too naive to know what dangers lied ahead. I

see media, as having a huge effect on her lifestyle. Due to the fact that that she was exploited in every way,
shape , and form. As a child, as a teenager, as a young adult, and as the sad young lady we see today.

I find it almost ironic, the media would be so fast to 'dethrone' her. After tabloids, practically gave her the crown!
True I still do not care for her, however, I see this as a turning point in her life. Who knows she may step it up,
on everyone, and become the next Patty Duke. Yes, I did make the comparison. I will also go back to icons, such
as Shirly Temple, and Elizabeth Taylor. I might hit a sore note with this one, but what about Drew Barrymore?
Wholesome, beautiful, slightly flirty, but so refined. She became this way over night? She has an edge to her
that is very similar to Ms. Spears.

The examination, is my own, I believe Drew Barrymore was also exploited. She was a child star, addicted to drugs,
and alcohol,but, she beat the media right back. By accepting it, fixing it, and making it out alive. I've not yet to seen
extemities, such as the shaving of ones head, but it is a fresh start for Britney. She is an icon in her own era, she
has the strength to stand up and start over. What better way than to come a new? I think she has an awsome career
ahead of the one she is leaving behind.
