My husband and I are frequent travelers, but one of the first things we do when planning our next trip is to travel on the Web to TripAdvisor. We check out ratings here for tourist attractions, excursions, restaurants and hotels.

We've gotten excellent guidance through reviews for travel all over North America and the Mediterranean. It is TripAdvisor that assists us in deciding where to spend our dollars. Its rating system and photos make decision-making very simple.

When we get back from our trip, we go to TripAdvisor and leave our opinions, too.

The folks on TripAdvisor welcome input, but their standards are firm. All pieces must be written in a non-personal and informative style. Because of this, you will find information, instead of rantings and ramblings.

TripAdvisor: A valuable time and money saver. Try it. You'll like it.
