Yes, I believe that in some shape or form, Brittany will revive her career. she just seems to have the "it" factor so that no matter what she does, attention focuses on her. Just look at what's happened to her in the last couple years. She allegedly endangered the life of her child twice while driving, she's alleged to have taken drugs, she shaved her head and was thought to be losing her mind, she bombed her dance routine on a major show on national T.V., she lost her kids to K-fed and she even alienated her mother. Yet she is still one of the most searched for people on the Internet and she is going to be starring on a T.V. show coming out soon. I don't think she could kill her career for long if she wanted to.
As far as her singing goes, people may have differing views on how good her voice is, especially compared to Aguilera and Madonna for example, but still there's no question she's just as excellent a performer/entertainer. So again, the "it" factor has allowed her to transcend any adverse opinions about her singing.
She's a young adult going through heartbreak and she has 2 young children. Of course she's going to experience rough times. The difference between her and the rest of us is that all the normal problems an adult goes through are magnified ten-fold due to her fame. The average person can get into their car drive to Walmart, purchase a kart load of groceries, go through check out and the worst that happens is that they get stopped by the militant 'greeter' at the exit - with their fake smiles - and forced to dig around for the receipt so that they can pretend to look at it and then allow us to proceed out the store.
When Brittany tries to follow the same path the farthest she gets is out the door where she's greeted by a sea of paparazzi. I'm sure the first couple of times any famous person is swarmed by paparazzi it's flattering, but after a while it has to be aggravating. Have you ever walked out your door covered in sunglasses and perhaps a large hat because you just didn't feel like connecting with anyone that day? You weren't in the mood to make small chit-chat...etc. Well famous people like Brittany can't afford that luxury. One frown or bad hair/makeup day and they're splashed all over the tabloids for weeks.
I believe that once she's able to get away from the prying press long enough to relax and recoup, she'll be able to jump back up and wow us again with countless years of great performances.
