I have found several uses for hydrogen peroxide around my home. The power of hydrogen peroxide is amazing, it has many uses. Here are some tips for using it arounnd your home.
1. Add a cup of hydrogen peroxide to your load of whites instead of bleach. It gets your whites just as bright as bleach without the unpleasant smell.
2. Use hydrogen peroxide to remove mold from your home. Put in a spray bottle and spray on the areas effected let stand for 5 to 10 minutes then wipe clean with a damp sponge.
3. Spray hydrogen peroxide on your counters and table tops and wipe down with a damp cloth. It will act as a disinfectant.
4. Add about 2 ounces of hydrogen peroxide to your dish washing detergent. I have only done this in the dishwasher, after adding my regular detergent I add the peroxide. The peroxide will sanitize your dishwasher and your dishes stopping the spread of viruses.
5. Add one pint of hydrogen peroxide to each gallon of water in your humidifier. This will not only keep your humidifier clean but it also leave the air smelling clean.
6. For healthier plants add 1 ounce peroxide to 1 quart water in a spray bottle and mist your plants with this solution.
