How to make an indoor Easter tree

You will need the following items to do this easy craft.

Hand blown, colored Easter eggs
1 large can, big coffee can is best
branches 2 to 2 1/2 feet long
plaster of sand
string
glue
tape
construction paper
crayons or colored pencils

To hand blow an egg, get eggs to be used to warm up to room temperature. Create a pinhole at one end and carefully increase it in size to that of 1/4 to 1/5 inch diameter. Do the same on the opposite end. Cover holes with fingers and shake to unify all parts of the egg. Over a bowl, blow out the contents and allow it to dry, overnight. Color eggs the usual way or the way you'd prefer.

Glue ribbons or string to one end of the egg and allow it to dry completely. Cut your construction paper to fit around the outside of your can. Color and decorate it, then tape to the outside. Place sand or mix plaster and place into the bottom of the can filling it 1/3 to 1/2 way up. Arrange your branches the way you'd like. Then hang the eggs onto the tree, by taping them to it.
