The internet has made it so easy to research and book affordable travel arrangements. The number of websites devoted strictly to travel and accomodations have rendered the travel agent virtually obsolete! One really exemplary website is Hotels.com.

I have used this website around a dozen times in the past few years to book hotel rooms in and out of my area. I admit that I was wary at first - who isn't apprehensive when arranging lodgings sight unseen? Yet from the get-go I was reassured when, upon arrival at my out-of-town hotel, everything was as described to me on the website. No misrepresentation. No hidden fees (in fact, I was shocked that I managed to find such a nice hotel for so little money...in the heart of New York City, no less!). The entire experience was just as I was led to believe it would be.

There was another occasion during which I was forced to cancel my arrangements due to a change of plans, and that couldn't have been easier either.

As I said, I've used this website countless times and have never been disappointed. It truly makes booking travel easier and more affordable...two things any traveler can appreciate!
