Mavs/Suns 2 Sunday at Phoenix, the Suns "blow out" the Mavs 126-104.
The Number 1 Mavs versus the number 2 Suns was the most anticipated, and talked about basketball game since the last game the two teams played. In between the Final 4 Games, this Game was "it", and the game surprised a lot of people. Not the Pheonix Suns whom have beat the Mavs again, and the Mavs 9 game winning streak, to them, meaningless, not able to withstand the Suns. How did the Suns do it? Watching the game, the Suns FG's, they wouldn't miss shooting over 60 % all game. Steve Nash once again showed, or demonstrated why he is the leagues Most Valuable Player by the way he plays, scores, and makes the pass to his team mates. Sunday, for the Suns, Barbosa played exceptional, and Amare: What can I say, the FG's percent speaks for itself. For the Mavs, late in the game, you could tell that Dampier was needed as the Suns Walked all over them in the Paint, and from the Outside. The Mavs weakness against the Suns is Size, and it showed. There were dominating performances by Marion, Amare. The Phoenix Suns did something that No Team has been able to do to the Mavs, and that is Win by psyche(ing) them out Mentally, physically, and emotionally on the Court during the game.

The Mavs and Suns played a back and forth game half way in the game, but the Suns always seemed to have the momentum, able to put up the points. At 69-69, the Mavs played tough, especially Stackhouse, at times as he and Nash would go back and forth on hoops for scores, like showing one up, and then the other would show him up worse. The Suns go on a 10-2 run, score at 79-69 until the Mavs scored 2. The Suns take a 89-79 lead, and had a 7-10 point cushion most of the way 2/3rds in the game until that last Scoring Spurt to Blow the Mavs out Sunday. The Mavs missed a lot of outside shots during the game. Howard makes an awesome Dunk along the left baseline for 2 in the 4th, and that was the Highlight of the game pretty much for the Mavs. Stackhouse's drives, and going back and forth early against Nash, but as soon as the Mavs would score a nice hoop, the Suns answered, and quickly outscored the Mavs throughout the second half of the basketball game after the score was tied at 69. The Suns, Steve Nash is the difference on why the Suns do have the Best Starting 5 in the NBA right now being the 2 seed defeating the Mavs by 22.
