Springtime is in the air! it is an invigorating time of year, everything seems brighter and fresh as the morning air. The patio awaits thee! and mild weather makes it a perfect time to sit and rejoice with a refreshing light drink with a little spirit!
If Vodka is your preference try,
The Volga Boatman:
1&1/2 oz. Vodka
1&1/2 oz. Cherry Brandy
1&1/2 oz. Orange juice

Ice
Combine ingredients stir well with ice and strain into glass. Perfect!

If Rum is your favourite try,
The Honeybee:
1&1/2 oz. Light Rum
1/3 oz. Lemon juice
1 tbsp. Honey
Ice
Shake well, then pour into your favourite glass, garnish with a lemon wedge. Delightful!

If you love your Gin try,
The Darby:
1 oz. Dry Gin
1/4/ oz. Lime juice
1&1/2 oz. Grapefruit juice
Add 2 oz. Soda water
Shake well with ice, pour into glass and garnish with a cherry. Refreshing!

For the Rye/Whiskey drinkers try,
The Wild Rose:
1&1/2 oz. Whiskey
1/2 oz. Grenadine
Lime juice of half a lime
Pour into a tall glass fill with soda water, stir, top with a cherry. Sweet!

If you crave a Champagne Cocktail try,
adding 1 large tsp. Vanilla Ice Cream
into a large glass, add
2 dashes of maraschino cherry syrup
1 oz. fresh orange juice
Fill glass with Champagne and garnish with orange wedge. Smooth!

Those that prefer White Wine try,
using a tall glass add crushed ice,
Add 1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp sugar (optional)
Fill with Wine and stir, garnish with a sprig of mint. So Cool!

Those who enjoy Red Wine try,
using a tall glass add crushed ice,
1 dash of maraschino cherry juice,
1 tsp lemon juice,
1 tsp sugar (optional)
Fill glass with Wine and stir, garnish with lemon wedge. Perfect!

If you prefer a non-alcoholic cocktail there are hundreds to choose from, here is one,
Summer Delight
juice of 1 lime,
3/4 oz. raspberry syrup,
Soda water, ice,
Add ice, lime juice, raspberry syrup into a tall glass,
Fill with Soda water and stir,
Garnish with fruit (fresh raspberries or limes) Spring Fresh!
