Travel website reviews: Hotwire.com

In a world filled with travel websites, which one do you choose? How do you know that the site you are using is a good one? Take heart, many of these websites have similar networks, so one is not always far and away better than another. However, Hotwire is one of the better travel websites due to ease of use, the consistently low prices they offer, and the package and discount deals that they make available.

Hotwire's homepage is well organized, with the basic search fields on the left on a pale yellow background. At the top of the page stretch tabs of options such as car, flight, hotels, packages, cruises and deals. Font size is not so small that you struggle to see, nor so big it blares. Hotwire also allows a user to sign up for an account which they can use to save searches and more. The search time is short and you can feel confident that you have received some of the best deals around.

This leads us to the second stand-out of Hotwire.com. Their network seems to be vast and constantly updated, so the deals and prices you see are consistently good. Most users will be very hard put to find a better deal than what they find on Hotwire.com.

The final special feature of Hotwire.com is that they offer a variety of deals and packages. On the homepage they have a map of the USA with stars for where the best-cost vacations can be had. At the bottom of the page there is usually a list of the best current discounts and deals they are offering.

All in all, Hotwire.com is a pleasant option with some deals that you simply can't find in other places. It is a nice choice for the regular traveller.
