Careers: Finding happiness on a slow career path

by TC

Finding happiness in your career has nothing to do with how fast or slow the path is an everything to do with your expectations. A "slow" career path is only slow for someone if they find it to be slow, and this is relative to the individual. If they do find it to be slow, the question should not be how they can be happy in that career path but rather what career path would make them happy. Each person needs to determine what they want to be doing and what they are willing to settle for, and than work toward that goal. The key to finding happiness on an career path is for the path to be the one best suited for the individual and not the one that is expected of them. The only person that knows what makes them happy is that person, and that happiness does not have to be the same as the next person's.
