He is the owner of the biggest bank in my country.. And here is how he started...
At first, when he was a little boy, he worked in a place where people sells vegetables.. he was carrying the vegetables which people buy and take it to their houses since there were no cars at that time! He get 1 SR for it (few cents). He never spent it at all. He was very proud of himself and never asked people for money..
Then, He worked in the service of some man for a monthly salary of 1 SR. Then, worked as an ash collecter. As he says.. some people refused to give him the ash unless he cleaned up their kitchens where he learned cooking. And here where he worked as a cooker in some palaces. And finally he started his relationship with financial matters... He says "no matter what kind of job I'm doing.. it was important for me to be the 1st to come to my office 2 hours before my employees. And I was the last to leave". "When I first made my company, I go to my office before dawn with my breakfast in my pocket..". "Man should keep 1 hallala (less than a cent) before keeping 1 riyal (Saudi currancy), and man should keep 1 riyal before keeping a thousand riyal, and the thousand before the million... And above all.. a man should be honest and truthful with himself and with others..". "If a week was 9 days, I would work 9 days/week, 'cause working makes people healthy, active, happy... etc".
After reading his story... and seeing him one of the richest and most successful men in my country I learned something...
It's not about what kind of job you will work... it's how you work! It's how you think and how you manage your money... It's all about how much you're proud of yourself and proud of your work! Just work hard, honestly and save your money!
I know that all of you believe in all this and already know it.. but I read his story and wanted to share it with all of you hoping it will be useful for you someday! Good luck everybody!
