Anyone looking to earn an honest $1000 in a day can do it without breaking the piggy bank. It's only a question of how entrepreneurial you are.

Some ideas:

1. Antiques and collectibles are a surefire way to maximize your income dollars. All you need to do is look around your house. It could be something you inherited, bought at a yard sale or an auction. Some items to look for are old comics, sports memorabilia, militaria, entertainment memorabilia, furniture. Do some online research and price what you have. Some comics fetch thousands of dollars. Certain militaria items like authenic Japanese Samuri swords also run into thousands of dollars. Entertainment memorabilia (props and wardrobe) from TV shows and movies bring in hefty prices. That unwanted furniture that Aunt Mary gave you could be worth $2000 to $200,000. Sell it at auction and you may get a premium price. Sell it to a collector or dealer direct, you may fetch 50% to 100%+ for a single item depending on quality and demand. Need proof. I personally know someone who purchased a painting at auction and turned it into a $500,000 profit in one day.

2. Be an advertising sales representative. Maybe you don't think ad sales is fun, but a sales representative worth his/her salt can make $1000+ commission in a day. Anyone selling high-ticket items can make $1000 easy in a single commission sale.

3. e-Bay it. Become a power seller. Check out the completed sales on e-Bay to what items are the highest ticket items selling and match what you already have on hand to the demand. With five or six well chosen items, you can put them on-line in a day and seven days later, voila! You could have more than $1000+ in your pocket. Granted, there is a slight investment and fees attached, but minimul outlay in return for your trouble.

4. Real estate. There are deals where investors have bought property and turned around and sold it in a day, making $1,000+. However, if you plan do become a real estate investor, LEARN everything you can about real estate before parting with your hard earned cash.

5. Day-trading. This is more risky. Learn about daytrading before ever considering this as an option. There are as many who lose money day trading as those who have made money.

6. Gambling. See above. Whether it's scratch cards, KENO, Powerball, cards, dice, or roulette, you invest cash in the "hopes" of getting a return. Know that the "odds" always favor the "house". Winning $1,000 in a day could cost you $2,000 out of pocket! There are far better ways to earn your money ... even if it's not at $1,000 a day.
