If you can't earn (and few can without big outlay) $1000 in one day from one source, you still might just do so from several sources.
Luck, diligence, persistence and creative thinking are all necessary!

Get involved in a few things where you might get a big win, plus working on other more labour intensive small tasks. You might just earn enough to start investing in properties, or (cheaper) antiques, art, etc.

Try these:

1. Think of a small sum you will invest in a lottery ticket each week and stick to it.

2. Go around your home, garden and wardrobe (and those of other consenting adults) and sort out items to sell. Do this at a Car Boot sale or your own "garage sale".

3.People will also buy the most amazing things from E-Bay.

4. Consistently enter Prize Draws - whatever the prizes - as you could always sell them on.

5. Enter competitions on food packets, shops, furnituere, etc. You can build up skills by looking at results and seeing what winning entries had that yours didn't. Set yourself a target number to enter each week.

6. Is there a part of your home (or garden) that you could let or sub-let? This could just be the back of a garage to store furniture, or a garden plot for someone to grow vegetables. Until you ask you don't know what someone would be prepared to rent for a small sum.You might just have exactly what someone else is looking for.

7. And of course for the really hard up there are always those little jobs ... ironing, washing, house cleaning, gardening, grass cutting, dog walking, caretaking during absebnces.

8. People will pay well to know their animals are safely cared for in their own home when they have to go away.

9. Write articles for local newspapers or specialist magazines - you might not make much per article, buy every little helps. Try the library for ideas of publications you might approach.

10.Can you make items to order? Personalised quilts, wooden chests, embroidered samplers as presents for new babies or marriages, new homes, etc. You may take your skills for granted, but others will be happy to pay for such personal gifts.
