Apprehensive,
but not scared.
Stepping into the unknown,
new discoveries to be found.
It is the time for new beginnings,
not the end.
A fresh start, full of hope,
and free from pain.
To be reunited with loved ones,
who've already passed this way.
The reapers calling you,
but you are not afraid.
Your time is now,
and you accept it.
You have no regrets,
apart from leaving loved ones,
and seeing sadness in their eyes.
You tell us please don't cry,
remember the good times,
laugh and smile,
make the passing light.
Apprehensive,
but not scared.
With quiet confidence,
you face death.
You are certain this is not the end,
certain that we will hug again.
