Sexual orientation outside the mainstream is often misunderstood and the various behaviors are confused. This short article will briefly address three of the these behaviors:
A fetish lover is primarily a heterosexual man fixated at a part of a woman's clothing or bodily part at the exclusion of her as a woman. Example: A man who kisses a woman's feet as part of lovemaking is not considered having a fetish. A man who loves and worships only feet is considered having fetish.
The crossdresser and transvestite are generally heterosexual men who dress in women's clothing but for different reasons. A crossdresser finds women's clothing to be sexually exciting and frequently uses the clothing for sexual pleasure and may have difficulty making love without wearing pantyhose or panties.
A transvestite typically spends an enormous amount of time to look and in some cases pass as a woman. The behavior is not so much sexually driven as gender driven. There is a part of this man who wants to feel like a woman and honor femininity. The transvestite is usually heterosexual and unlike the transsexual does not wish to switch genders.
