Rachel Zoe is a celebrity stylist turned designer. She is often best known for dressing celebrities such as Cameron Diaz and Anne Hathaway. Her name became a household name when she wrote the style book called Style A to Zoe and starred in her own reality television series, the Rachel Zoe Project. Let’s take a look at where Rachel Zoe came from and how her fashion line, Rachel Zoe, came about.

According to imdb, Rachel Zoe was born in 1971, in New York. She showed an interest in fashion and art from a young age. So when she graduated from college, she went to work for YM Magazine as a fashion assistant. According to the Rachel Zoe website, she was promoted to editor is just two short years. She also began to dress actresses and other celebrities for red carpet events. She gained a high reputation for this pursuit and these experiences led to her writing the book, Style A to Zoe. This book quickly became a hit on the New York Times best seller list.

A year after launching her successful book, she debuted her show the Rachel Zoe Project. This show gives the viewer an inside look at styling celebrities. It also offers lots of drama in the star's personal life and her relationships with her work colleagues.

During 2006, she collaborated with Judith Leiber to design a successful handbag line. This led to her developing her own line of accessories called Luxe Rachel Zoe. This is a line of bags, sunglasses and other accessories for QVC.

Due to continued success, she recently launched the Rachel Zoe Fashion line. She previewed this line with a contemporary collection during 2011. This line includes fashion separates, footwear, handbags and more recently, a jewelry range. All of Rachel Zoe’s fashion ranges incorporate a few key elements. One of the top elements is a vintage influence. You will notice that many of Rachel Zoe pieces have a 1960s or 1970s vibe. She also has a love of furs and uses fur or faux fur in many ranges.

Rachel Zoe has had success on many fronts. She is married to her long-term love, Rodger Berman, and had her first child at the end of 2010. She has also won many fashion awards. For example, The Fashion Group International’s fashion Oracle award and Hollywood Reporter’s Most Influential Stylist award, the Accessories Council Fashion Influencer Ace award and Hollywood Life Magazine’s Star Stylist award.
