Valentine's Day is kind of a catch twenty-two when it comes to figuring out what to give your husband. Men do not like the same things women do, and that makes it hard to know what to give them. Even if he is sweet enough to tell you he likes those cute teddy bears, he probably is not being honest. This year, think about giving him a handmade gift that will really mean something to him.
*Give him some room.
A man deserves his own special space, just like a woman deserves her own personal area. Clear a space, even if you have to move some of your things, and give him the option of utilizing that new space any way he sees fit. Maybe he can put a desk there and use it as a work area, or put a table/small bench and use it as a hobby area. Who knows, maybe he will use it as the place he goes to play video games or even to cuddle with you! The point is to let him know you see him and what he does everyday for the benefit of the marriage and respect him for it. It does not matter if he has the run of the garage because that is outside of the home. He needs to know he is entitled to his own space within the home.

You can dress up the presentation too by simply serving up the treat on a nice plate or even a pretty basket (except cake or pie, the basket could get a little messy). If calories are a concern, search online or through your cookbook, for sugar-free versions of his favorite treat. There are wonderful sugar substitutes available that are specifically for baking and cooking.
*Scrapbook.
First and foremost: this is not going to be a frilly, pretty scrapbook. This is for your husband, therefore you want to make it something he will actually want to look at more than once. One idea is to make a scrapbook of his hobby, for example he flies remote controlled airplanes. Take pictures of his planes and place them in the book, on different pages and label them appropriately. Find some real life photos of the same planes online, print them out and place them in the right place alongside the
