If humans knew when they were going to die, what would happen? Anarchy? Confusion? Histeria? Will people do everything they ever wanted good or evil?
To answer this question, lets look at some things people have done who know they are going to die:
When the comedian, Bill Hicks, learned that he was going to die, he stopped just telling anti-establishment jokes, he started giving full bodied explanations of his actions, telling the absolute truth of his beliefs in every way he could.
That's not anarchy or histerics.
When Hunter Thompson learned that he was going to die, he told his family that rather than go threough all of the pain of it, he was going to kill himself. His family conferred and in the end, they all agreed that a quick death would be much better than the slow torment that awaited him. He told them that he loved them and, in the privaqcy of his office, killed himself.
That's not madness or confusion, that's love and devotion and a family absolutely sharing their lives and ideals.
When Monty Wooley learned that he was going to die, he donated everything he had to various charities and lived in a one room apartment writing his memoirs until he died.
That's not evil, that's beautiful and the passing on of everything, everything he had to the people of the world for their own use.
I think that if people knew when they were going to die, they would take life much more seriously and carefully.
